This year marks Provost Building Service’s 30th Anniversary!
That’s 30 years of partnerships and smiles, 30 years of working behind the scenes to keep high standards of provost clean and 30 years of laughing with the best team.
Our History
Provost Building Services was founded in 1992 with residential cleaning in the surrounding Twin Cities area. Once the cleaning business built a good customer list, we were asked to bid on commercial cleaning opportunities. We found that the owners of the residential homes we were cleaning, they were also business owners. We jumped at the opportunities and we learned quick about the commercial cleaning business.
After 30 years, Provost Building Services has 60 customers and employ over 50 people in the Twin Cities area.
Throughout the years, Provost has experienced many victories, but also failures. We survived the great recession in 2008 and the pandemic of 2020. We have learned that trust is the foundation to sustain business with our customers along with lots of hard work. Keeping our standards high has brought back business over and over again.
Our anniversary isn’t just a celebration of success, it is a celebration of trust-based relationships we have built for 30 years.
In the year 2000, this was the first “official” Provost Building Services vehicle.
This is the first photo taken with the first Provost Cleaning team. First time with employees other than owner and one other person.
